Hi guys, Can any of you guys tell me what package you believe this image was created in please I am guessing at Bryce or terragen, but my knowledge is poor ! any advice, guidance or direction would be really helpful thanks in advance Jack

Almost 100% sure its Bryce. Still, its just my gut instincts.

Looks like Bryce with possibly some Post production.

looks to me more like bryce was maybe the inspiration for the pic, but my gut says it's all PS or whatever. If someone was able to create this in Bryce, we'd probably know about him/her. drac

Looks a lot like a Artmatic Voyager image.

It could be done in bryce easy enough if the person knew what they were doing with the program. To be totally honest and coming from someone that is no expert with 3d images, that image looks like it was done in some painter program. My advice to you though jacko66 is don't go by others images, try both programs and see which one you prefer. Bryce as a couple of down falls but hey, its a damn great program to start on and if thats what you have pay nore visits here and ask questions, post your WIP(work in progress) and with the help of everyone on this forum you to could turn an image out like that.

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

Could be 2D???

I never intended to make art.

I agree,looks photoshopped to me.

What is a CRIF?

cambert ( ) posted Fri, 29 July 2005 at 6:02 AM

I'd say Bryce above the horizon and Photoshop below it. Doesn't look like Terragen to me, but there's nothing to say it wasn't created in more than one app.

jacko66: Why do you want to know anyway?

I never intended to make art.

Rosemaryr ( ) posted Fri, 29 July 2005 at 6:57 AM

Is there any way to contact the artist and ask him/her? That would be the quickest and definitive way to find out.

I'm almost positive it's just photoshop.

Sans2012 ( ) posted Sat, 30 July 2005 at 9:09 AM

With a combination of the above mentioned programs, or with one of them??? So why did you want to know how this was made again?

I never intended to make art.
