Hi Everybody I've got a problem at the installation of the Poser6 software. Programm stops installing after a cupple of time. Installation stop when "Runtime/libraries/James/JamesHirez.obz" should be installed. Could it be that only this data is broken? It is impossible (for me) to find this data in programm files. Perhaps someone is able to give me an aswer. so long Loki

I know that when I installed mine, it took forever for that part to install (also, the Jessi files took a while) but it did install.

any idea how to repair the data? Did your Poser6 run now?

Mine runs fine. If you have a corrupted installer you may have to contact e-Frontier for a replacement CD (or if you have the download version then try to get them to let you re-download it).

IMO thats not a prob with the installer. Try to install with the custom option and than the 3rd option only which installs Poser with the old figures and no P6 content. If this works, redo the full installation and make sure your harddrive has enough free space ;))

That seems to be succesfully but quite at the last part of installation it stops again at the data C:programs/Curius Labs/Poser6/Runtime/textures Poser5/textures/Props/textures hair/Skull male.jpg. Thanks for the tip but Installation was unsuccesfully.

How much free space do you have on your hard drive?

If you know someone with a CD/DVD burner you could try to copy the CD there (copy to disk first) as it might be that a different CD drive is able to read the disk.

44GB free space on harddisc. I've got a DVD driver.

That's a windows problem... I dont think poser would just stop installation on its own... Of course it may have corrupted data If that is the case, go to the complaint department;)
