Subject: Injection Magic Help, please!

It's been a while since I used this and, having to learn it all over again, I'm lost. For one thing, the Definition Files included don't include V3, or for that matter any of the Generation 3 models and I cannot track down premade Definition Files elsewhere. Before you ask, yes, I looked at 3DUniverse but they don't support the product. I looked at DAZ but there's nothing in their Support library. Any road up, I made my own Definition Files but IM said the models don't really support Injections. V3? Shurely Shome Mishtake! So, armed with me new - albeit odd - definitions, I went about making my new INJ and REM poses. They built up just fine, saved just fine but when I use them, the morphed model looks like total arse. Well, the face looked OK but the body... OW! Looks nowt like the morph I made. Oh, I also made Definition Files for V3 SAE and V3 SR2, just in case there was any significant difference as far as IM is concerned. So, I'm a bit peeved - not being the most patient lad in the world - and I'd appreciate some advice. Pretty please. With sugar on top.

Hi Paul, Open up the Injection Magic folder in Windows Explorer and browse to the Data folder. There should be a zip file in there called "ExtraDEFfiles". There is a DEF file in there for V3. Unzip it into the Data folder, then go to Tools>Browse for New Definitions and you should be able to just browse to the V3 file. If that doesn't work, I have made a successful V3 SAE definition file: let me know if you want it and I'll put it in my file locker. HTH :-)

Thanks, Karen. I appreciate your help. I'll try looking for the ExtraDEFfiles first. BTW, how's yer voice?

Also, check the fullbody / parts morphs. I had problems with injecition magic files injecting and setting the morphs both in full body and in the parts themselves. So it was basically "doubling up" the morph. Which makes things look really bad.

Consider me insane if you wish, but is your reality any better?

Cheers for that, B. Makes sense. :)

Heheh, cheers Paul, my voice is nearly all better now. I no longer sounds like Honor Blackman ;-)
