Each Full Moon, Crowds of Ghouls gather in the Streets of Foxton all Hell bent on causing mayhem and fear. The Galant Police of Foxton hold them at bay. *salute* ~~~~ G'day Smugoons....warts shakin' Dude.....and I dont like how Doug's Policeman is doing the Frisking....Muuuuuuah!*

I wonder if there were problems getting police "volunteers" for the work shown in the first image (wink).

Today at 11:52hrs they were proceeding in an easterly direction towards Tower Bridge.

Ok ..Simon! (aka Doug!) lol You asked for it!!! I hope this is ok...I am going to post 5 pictures! EEks.. ! Hope I don't get in trouble for this...lol It's just kind of a series of photos I took on a recent train trip here in New York. My trip just happened to be the very same day of the first bombing incident in the tubes of London; 7/7/05. :-( Image 1 = A definite presence of law enforcement noticed as I walk into the station. Image 2 = A friendly police dog poses for my cam...the policeman was not quite as happy with me...lol :-)

The next set shows: Image 3= The friendly police dog goes to work sniffing for bombs around and inside the train that just pulled in from New York City. Image 4= Uhoh...an unclaimed bag is found left on the platform right outside our window!!! That is the top of a friend's head at the bottom.

OOps..should have previewed that last one. I forgot that I cropped my friend's head to reduce the pic size! LOL Ok this one.. Image 4, 5, and 6 = The police officer handling the canine officer shows him the suspicious bag and takes the dog around and around the column it is sitting on. He brings the dog up to it to see if he shows any interest. Sorry for the quality of the pics...they are very compressed here. Plus I was taking them through the train window. :-)

Image 8 = the dog shows no interest...thank Goodness!!! Whew.. :-) Image 9 = the police officers show some relief also!

And lastly (thank you for your subject Doug!) ...:-) Image 10 = The officers go about trying to identify what numbskull left their bag at the station! lol And ..no...it wasn't mine! ;-) Image 11 = A good job done, the canine police officer takes a well-deserved break. I must say, I did feel a whole lot more secure as the train pulled away from the station. ((((hugs)))) ~ maggie

I didn't have any in my files and haven't seen many lately, then saw one today pulling somone over for speeding on my way to get an oil change. Nothing too exciting, but there ya go!

Was that You getting pulled over??? The lengths some people go to just to get a picture!! LOL "Excuse me officer while I take a photo of this." hehehe Great shot! :-)
