About a week ago, I read an article on an old exhibition sport that is trying to make a comeback. After doing some Google searching on it, I realized it was in desperate need of an image make over. The sport is Roller Derby. This sport is about babes. Tough babes. Babes on rollerskates battling it out on the track. Of course I thought who better to do the image makeover than....the Poser community! I'm thinking participating artist each do a team. Thats five unique characters in one image. They have to be tough and sexy with killer outfits. Of course the more minimal the outfits the better. :) If any of you are not familiar with the sport, just do a Google search on it. You'll get the idea pretty quick. I hope everyone is up for this. Could be some great fun.

ROFL LMAO!!!!!!!!! OH YEAH! She's (?) tough enough! (could have problems in the steroids testing department) LOL! If we had men in Roller Derby it just wouldn't be Roller Derby. But....The was a couple of movies in a similar vein called "Rollerball." I think we can work that variation in. I want you people to think a cross of WWF and Hockey. Only we are talking RollerBabes. Beautiful. (except for the ugly one) Tough as nails. We're talking top speed around the roller skate rink with elbows and fists flying. We're talking moves like the Slingshot and the Clothesline. Bodychecks and takedowns. And yet they are sexy enough to stop an entire bar in thier tracks when they walk in. This is an "entertainment" sport that once had the popularity of Big Time Wrestling. (now know as the WWF) I want to see more like Hilda there. :)

Actually, RollerDerby did have men. Nobody ever watched the men, but they were there.... Bitchin' concept, count me in. What do I win? ;-)

Steroids??? Of course not! Next you'll be telling me Rafael Palmeiro uses steroids...

Anybody remember and old movie called Roller Ball that was based on this sport?

Does anybody want to go to the admins and make this official? I don't have the anything put together on this yet. Just thought I's get the idea out to you guys to see what you thought.
