INJ & REM What's the diff between 'em. Feel free to give me a RTFM if its in there. I haven't bothered to crack it open yet.

INJ - applies morphs to a model which supports morph injection, such as Victoria 3, Stephanie Petite, Michael 3 REM - Removes the morphs. That's about it.

...you download a model and it has INJ but the Notes & requirements says "needs additional morph targets". What does that mean? Where are you supposed to get these additional morph targets?

It means you need the morph packs from DAZ that go with that figure. If you'd wondered why DAZ were able to give away figures like Vicki, Mike and Aiko, here's where they make their money. ;) Most characters seem to require both head and body morphs, although there are some face-only characters available.

Thanks, that's what I thought. What annoys me is that Freebie Donors don't mention which Morph pack from DAZ you require with their model. They just say something like "Needs additional Morph targets from DAZ".

Yeah, Ok. But which one. Would it be that hard to just write, Asian Morph Pack from DAZ req.

Maybe its me, since I'm relatively new to Poser. I'm mostly a Brycer that populates my scenes with Poser figures. And I'm now exploring Poser in greater depth.

Actually DAZ doesn't break it down that specifically. There is only the head morph pack and the body morph pack. Asian is included in head morph, along with African, Irish, French, and Indian, among others.

That's odd. I downloaded and installed the Li Wei freebie. I've got the DAZ V3 Head & Body Morph pack. But when I try to apply the Li Wei morph to V3 it asks for InjDeltas.HdAsian.pz2. Am I wrong to assume that this is not part of some other morph pack (DAZ or otherwise)? Once again I apologize for being new to this.

It is part of the Head Morph pack. There is an easy way to verify that it exists: Go to your Poser's Runtime folder (in Explorer, for instance), find "!DAZ" folder, find "Victoria 3" folder, find "Head" folder, open "Deltas" folder. If "InjDeltas.HdAsian.pz2" isn't in there, then you've got a problem - reinstall the Head Morph pack. It could also be that the Li Wei morph is referencing the incorrect location for these files or that the "!DAZ" folder is in the incorrect location - you should NEVER move it (EVER, NEVER, EVER, EVER, NEVER - it breaks the entire Inj/Rem system). ;) Do your regultar Morph Injections work properly?

I haven't moved it trust me. All my V3 morphs work fine. I'm just having problems with some of the freebies I downloaded. There isn't any of the following: InjDeltas.HdAsian.pz2 InjDeltas.HdChinese.pz2 InjDeltas.HdKorean.pz2 InjDeltas.HdPolynesian.pz2 InjDeltas.Faceheart.pz2 InjDeltas.FaceRound.pz2 etc... Should I have these? Reinstalling had no different effect Here is my INJ list. The REM list is identical.

These are the standard head morphs that come with V3. The Head Morph pack (sold separately) adds another 500!!! injections. Something is definitely amiss. Have you done a "Search" for any one of the missing files to see if it was inadvertently installed somewhere else? If you can't find them, they need to be reinstalled.

Added: Make very certain that you are installing to the correct Runtime. Inj/Rem doesn't work across Runtimes. If you're installing them into D|S or Poser 5, but using Poser 6 and its Runtime, they need to be in Poser 6. Otherwise, I don't know how you could install the Head and Body Morph packs and not have them 'installed' anywhere.

That is the free V3SAE. She comes standard with those head morphs now. YOU NEED TO BUY the V3 head morph pack from Daz to get the full head morphs. There is also the ethnic Pack that adds more head and body morphs.

I did buy the V3 Head and Body Morph pack. It cost me $20. The download was 11 mB. I've done a search and these 500 morphs your talking about don't show up anywhere. I'm beginning to thing I've been ripped off. Here's a pic of my available d/ls if you don't believe me.

Ripped off in what way? Daz3D is a highly reputable online business (very highly, extremely, very!). I've purchased hundreds of items and software from them over the years.

The Head and Body Morph packs work. If they didn't, with the popularity of V3, this forum (and every other Poser forum) would be nothing but complaints about it.

Ah. There's your problem. Here are the file sizes for the version of each that I have - my versions are older mr017/mr018 Morph packs (obviously updated since then):

V3BodyMorph - 12MB
V3HeadMorph - 27MB

So, 11MB doesn't cover even one of them. Something is still not right here.

ETA: See, there you go. Yes, the Morph packs are separate downloads - Head and Body.
