Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 7:57 am)
You're right, kiru...I just took a closer look at the daz3d ones, and the ones pictured here are them. Kieren, if you are interested in making your own, you would need a program like Raydream, Carrara, 3DS Max, Truespace or Lightwave. Basically something that will let you make 3d models and export them or convert them as .obj files. If you can do that, you need to then take a look at the Tutorials link on the right side bar of this page and look under the Poser section for a tutorial on making Conforming Clothing figures. It ain't easy, especially not the first time, so you might want to take a look at the tutorials first and see if you're up for it.
kiru/Jeremy, your correct. The ones in the image are the ones I built... and offer via DAZ. Jeremy, you are somewhat correct as to their construction as well... except that, their base began as an offset surface from Michael's thigh/shin and not from a sweater or shirt. They were then built upon to be what you see in the image on the product page at DAZ.

Jeremy, Thank you.
Kieren... own DAZ? Not quite. Actually, not even close :). I have a mutually benificial relationship with DAZ and broker my work through them. Although I appreciate your compliment on the pads, giving them away is not something I'm prepared or willing to do. Not only would that violate my contract with DAZ, it would destroy the rapport I've worked hard to build with Zygote/DAZ over the past couple years and it would also cheat everyone who has purchased them, out of their hard earned cash.

Fox, I'm glad to read you feel that way. :)
Imager, With the number of figures I already have lined up in addition to a number of requests for Michael related stuff I've received, I could put them on my "to do" list... but, in all honesty, by the time I get that far down the list we'd be talking many months away...
