Subject: Poser Pro export bug...can anyone confirm?

It seems that when exporting to 3DS from the Poser Pro Pack, Texture references are now being dropped. The Lightwave exporter also seems screwed up.The OBJ exporter seems ok, though. Can anyone else confirm this for me? -SMT

3DS has always been screwed up. Didn't know it could export to LW format. If you mean the plugins for LW and MAX, those open PZ3's.

Nope. Under the file menu, export function, Lightwave has been added in the Pro Pack. Unfortunately the prop I exported to LWO format was mangled all to pieces! 3DS export was Buggy in Poser 4, but it still included texture references. This seems to have been broken in the Pro Pack. -SMT

Yes it did contain the texture pointers, but the UVs had a nasty white seam running through it when rendered. Is that still a problem? -JH.

Hmm... I'll have to try some more exports tonight. Maybe it's just props and not figures that have the problem... -SMT

in my new post to this forum, I also mentioned the nasty gap( seam) in the texture UV, particulrly in LW (6)

If you have LW6 you really should update to 6.5, it free and version 6 will give the textue problems I using LW 6.5 and PoserPro and i hav had no texture problems Mocap
