Subject: Firework pictures at last

These were taken at Frisco Mall north of Dallas, TX. I finally got around to getting the slides scanned. I used fujifilm Provia 100 RDP III professional slides. I love it, extremely fine grain. I also had prints made for my girlfriend's parents so I spent guite a bit.

#4 This was one of those ones that goes all directions. It looks pretty freaky on the frame. I set up my camera pointing the direction of the fireworks and adjusted so I could get most of them in the middle of the frame.

I was checking thse out...I sure wish I was able to get closer. I see by yours how good that would have been. Care to post some settings? I'll find mine and want to compare. Would like to do this again on Saturday too. Closer and more aware of some settings.

I think I used F/8 and held the shutter open with a cable release for however many fireworks I wanted in the picture. I listened for the launch and opened the shutter so I it would be open during the moment it exploded.
