I am not totally new to Bryce , just never venttured to use it for creation of Poser objects which leads me to My question. Is there a way to apply the materials to a object and then save it as a texture for Poser use or something along that line.

From previous threads and general reading here, I don't think so, when you save an object with texture, and ten export, Bryce doesn't export the texture. You'd have to UVMap it somehow. If you mean creat a texture in Bryce(place it on a plane and save the rendered image) and use that in Poser, it's just a simple image texture at that point and you'd save it as such.
