Out front today at low tide these folks were digging for clams...

Fantastic picture! The water is GORGEOUS! Did you get a picture of the Clam Bake too???? hehe! :) funny, i work with seafood and don't know anything about clams. didn't realize you had to dig for them! do you have to dig very deep???

Digging for clams????????? In sweden we pick em.. I digg for worms :) Sandworms are perfect!!!! Using for "bete" loure...eh bait... damb...to get the fish on the hook :) scusi for my english....

Yes, clams are something you need to dig for around here, in the Northwest, we can gather mussles off of the rocks and that's somewhat easier (and tastier too) but depending on what kind of clam is how far you have to dig.
