Subject: How old are you? (Mostly OT)

elizabyte ( ) posted Mon, 08 August 2005 at 12:00 AM · edited Sat, 03 August 2024 at 9:34 PM

A recent little discussion has led me to wonder what the "average" age of folks active in the online Poser community might be. I suspect it's probably around mid-thirties, but that's just a guess. So, and this is totally informal and entirely unscientific, but, how old are you? I'm 41, by the way. ;-) bonni

I'm a 40 year old teenage grand-dad. I've just started my third childhood and it's a lot more fun than my first two.

60 and I haven't givin up yet. Oh its good to see someone else near my age there Larry. I'll be 61 in just a few months. So I guess that makes me the oldest of the ones who have posted their ages. It's hard for me to fathom being older than so many people. I still havent givin up on finding the fountain of youth. So I guess you can call me the new version of Ponce de Leon.

Hmmmmm......I don't seem to have enough fingers.........

Let's see.....one.....two......three.......four.......

...........46.

Almost half a century.

I could have sworn that when I went to bed last night I was 18.

Yeah.....that's it. I must be dreaming. I'll wake up tomorrow and go attend classes at my high school as usual.

Just like that Bobby Ewing guy stepping out of the shower -- and canceling the entire previous season.

That way, I'll get to do it right this time.......... It's all a dream.

Yo 4dogday, gotcha beat, ha ha! 61 and looking at 62 coming up the road. Funny, talking to my daughter a few days back who was complaining some of her friends were razzing her about being the oldest one in their bunch at 43. LOL! Like they say, time flies, so you better have fun! Where does it all go?!?!

46 and starting back to college part time to round out my Associates degree with a Bachelors in IT, focusing on Web Design and Development.

You're never too old...

Still feel young, but I am saying more and more "I remember when....."

Here's one for those of us "old enough" to remember. Several years ago my oldest, now 21, then 14, commented on how "cool" Aerosmith was, especially the song "Walk This Way." When I enlightened him to the fact that I bought the song on 45 at his age he refused to believe me. I actually had to get my 45 collection out, dig out the vinyl, and show him the copyright date on it of 1974! Poor kid was in shock. LOL!

Old enough that I have to think about it when I'm asked. So, (this year) - (year of birth) = 52. Fortunately I can still remember my year of birth and have enough brain cells left to do the calculation.
