I just purchased Eszter. She is so brilliant!!! I have only one problem. Her skin is looking so shiny like plastic. When I compere my renders to the product-images it's really bad. I use Poser Pro Pack. Any ideas? In the commercial is a natural skin shown by Shahara. It's called Realpack but I can't find it anywhere???

Turn the Highlight Color and Ambient Color are turned to Black. Render > Materials. You can lighten the Highlight a bit till you get the gloss you want. That's the first time I opened P4 in a very long time. Had to to remember how the materials looked. LOL.

Humm says the seams are almost invisible needing only minor touchup. Is that true if you buy the realpack too? Wonder why it's not available yet? Going to wait on this one until more folks buy and try it. Marque

I tried this - but it's still plastic fantastic...

I contacted Shahara. The Realpack is available at Polymage.com

"Here's a render with standard lights...arghhh...."

You probably adjusted the ambient and highlight on the wrong material.

I don't have this item, but you may have the V3 materials and the prop head materials mixed up.

Hi Oliver, I think JeffH is right, you should first choose "Eszter" from the figures list, she also has the standard SkinHead, Lips etc groups and those are the ones you need to change. Also, I know this really isn't a "tip" lol....but I would really consider upgrading Poser. The material possibilities in P5 and 6 are really far, faar ahead of P4. Marque, I'm working on updating Eszter so she also is compatible with Victoria 3 uv's. Look at this thread (towards the bottom) and you will see there are no texture seems at all between Eszter's head and Victoria's neck: http://www.polymage.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=165

Hi DigiCalimero! First of all; Eszter is the best and believable character ever! I upgraded to P5, I used it, and I hated it. I went back to Poser Pro Pack ;-) Anyway - DAZ should have hired you long time ago. It's the first time I get a descent smile from "Victoria" ;-)

Here she comes! With the Realpack she rocks even more!!! I am in love with her!

So how much does it cost with the head the morphs and the texture? Thanks, Marque

Marque ( ) posted Thu, 11 August 2005 at 3:12 PM

And can you please do a different render without all the red lights, esp in the neck area? Thanks, Marque

Hm, so you are doing a V3 UVS....this is getting my attention once again:) I really like the face, I just can't afford more textures. looking really nice. eric

Ooh, I like that effect Oliver! I'm working on a scary witch displacement map for Eszter, just for fun. But it's looking great so far. That alone should make you definitely want to switch to P5 ;)

Eric,

Yes, it's done actually. You can take a look at the images at Polymage. Also I've posted some pics in the product showcase forum.
