Subject: stump tutorial

i have tried the stump tutorial in "http://groups.yahoo.com/group/amputee-women-computergraphics" but i couldn't manage it. does it work in poser 6? can anyone tell me how can i do a stump especially on left forearm and right shin.

I couldn`t see the tutorial because I am not a member of that group, but I am fairly sure it will work in poser 6. You could make part of the arm invisible (the hand etc) and then add a prop end of the arm to the figure.

The method as given seems to work properly on the thigh of Posette, but not on other figures. After a little experimenting (on Misaki's arm), I think you can make it work by these steps: (1) shrink the magnet itself until you can see a pinch; (2) expand the Mag Zone and move it on the Y axis (toward and away from the body) until the pinch looks right. You'll still probably need to add a 'plug', like a simple ball prop scaled and colored to match.

Had a similar idea eariler this year. Pestered my modeller to make some parts for all limbs. Then 1/2 way through my system died and lost most of it :( Then discovered this much better product(released way back in 2003)... http://www.renderotica.com/roticashop/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=davo_gorepacks I've not posted a picture because kids do visit here.
