I think you did a fine job in Freehand. The edited version in PS leaves me wanting (or something). I don't mind the effect but I wonder if you used an image that was too small or lacking resolution. For example, the front bumper looks to jaggy (like it would with a resolution problem). Also the windshield (windscreen for you Brits, wink) didn't seem to take too well to the conversion. Of course, I may be wrong (smile) and the jaggy look is more what you were going for.

tantarus ( ) posted Sun, 14 August 2005 at 8:03 AM

Well yes, the jaggy look was planed too make the image more warm and not so steril. I think that you will understand what I want to tell you. But thanks for the critics anyway, they are always wellcome :) If you want to try the effect youre self here is the way: 1) duplicate the B layer and set to multiply 2) go to filter-other-highpass (set between 1-3) you need the conturs to be visible 3) blur-gaussian blur (0,2 should be enough) 4) and finaly go to image-adjustment-treshold and get the slider down until youre happy with effect thats it for today PS scholl lol. ;) Tihomir

That's my windshield! I work at a company that make automotive glass which includes heavy truck, RV, etc. We manufacture the windshields for this truck, along with several others. Very nice work, and yes it is a windscreen for the Brit's. LOL!
