Subject: Wow. What Happened to Vue!?

mandimoore2002 ( ) posted Sat, 13 August 2005 at 12:44 PM · edited Wed, 05 February 2025 at 12:11 PM

I've been away for a few months and came back here as I'm getting ready to upgrade to Vue 5 Infinite from Vue 5 to find this place in chaos! How did the software turn into unstable garbage overnight!? Is this all related to the Cornucopia store? I could care less about that place. Is Infinite unusably unstable (this on Mac OS X)? I love Vue, but if E-on is putting out garbage now I can live with resigning myself to spending my time and money on Carrara or LW. Please advise!

Well, V5I has always run OK for me, apart from some export problems. Seems like only recently the patches have introduced more exporting problems, but of a different kind. I haven't patched, I can work around the old problems :)

You can get a great deal from Newtek where you get Lightwave and Vue5i at a special bundle price ;) Might be able to kill 2 birds with 1 stone with that deal ;) Cheers

Concerning Ligtwave you can buy Lightwave 8 (including Vue 5 Infinite) for $795.00 and you get free upgrade to Lightwave 9, that's a good deal I think. Edit: Cheers is faster than me.

How about simply downloading the demo version and see? You will fall in love with the ecosystem feature. I am sure!
