I may be talking complete rubbish but I thought that the hoya ndx400 is not a polarising filter - it simply absobs 8/9 stops therefore allowing v long exposures - used mostly by architectural and astronomical photographers (and perhaps some who complain of too much light - in the middle of the sahara) I have never used one but it might be a fun toy C

i know that is not a polarizing... polarizing is a tread of some days ago :) my bad english!!! i'm interested to make very long exposure shots during day... the nd8 that hoya give is not enought!
