There's a flying saucer in one of my pictures from Utah!

Could this be the real thing?

Since you say it was taken in Utah, I must agree that it probably is one of those flying fish that the state is known for. They are rare though, so this is still a lucky capture! You too Jeroen!

The observation took place in Nice/France the 08/08/2005 The first photo was taken to / La premie photo a prise : 18:04:11 The second photo / La seconde : 18:04:14 The third photo / la troisie : 18:04:16 The four photo / La quatrie : 18:04:18 The images were accentuated and contrasted under Photoshop for better visibility. I think that it is an UFO for the following reasons: 1. According to my knowledge in photography, I think that the photographed object evolved at an altitude higher than the plane. If it had been lower, its shape would have been better defined and if it had flown at the same height as the plane it would have been clearer also. 2. Its speed is sharply superior to that of the plane in view of the distance it covered on the montage on the last photo. Thus, it cannot involve some meteorological balloon or other plastic bags moving with the wind at this height 3. Its curved trajectory eliminates any possibility that it can involve a satellite or a meteorite, which it would have left a trail behind. Photos are taken with a gap of two seconds (I capture the EXIF metadata to show the timing) except for the one that is three seconds of the next. Knowing this, it seems between the third and the fourth photo the object accelerates! The montage of four photos below does not claim to be exact for at the distance crossed by the plane, but just to give an approximate estimation of the trajectory of the object. I give you my word that it is not a photomontage trick nor a hoax! Photos were passed on to an ufologist specialist for analysis Thanks to amorales for translation !!! ;)

Very neat addition to this thread. This one certainly doesn't look like a bug. ;] Thanks for sharing this!

Well, mine was probably a fighter jet from behind...
IMO there is one major flaw in Andre's reasoning, he says the object must have been higher then the airplane and moved with superior speed... Well, what if it was somesort of small particle falling down or blown by the wind that was so close to the lens it became blurred... that would explain the blurryness of the object as well as the percieved speed it was traveling
;o)
All in all very cool shots but im still sceptical of this kinda stuff :o)

That said, i have seen something i still cant explain till this day... it was a quite a few years back (i think i was 12) I saw 2 objects, just two tiny bright dots, high up in the air... there where clouds and they were clearly above those. Normally one would think it were airplanes but they were moving in patterns even jetfighter pilots can only dream of. They were moving in sharp curves and around eahother as if playing together or something, and quite fast too. Like i said im not really convinced it could be aliens or something like that, but it was still weird... It looked so unnatural, that im still thinking of this every once in a while (16 years later).
Come to think of it, they didnt look very much unlike the one Andre photographed... hmmmm ;o)
