Do you think this is a Poser model? Does anyone have any ideas on how this was done? cheerio lululee

That's been circulating for a while with tons of speculation on how it was done. I think about every Poser female has been nominated for that poor, poor contortionist.

That's so cool! lol

wouldn't it be funny if it was Renda? ;)

I'm fairly confident that it predate's Renda's release by at least several months.

I don't think Poser was used in it's creation. Here's a link to the guy who made it. His name is Pekka Sandborg (he has an example of it with a different girl on his page as well): **[Pekka Sandborg's Ragdoll](http://www.pekkasandborg.com/portfolio/?id=2)** He uses ragdoll physics, which are available also in some high-end 3D applications, particularly Reactor in 3dsMax comes to mind.

It's just made in flash. There is a gravity There is simulated IK There is a drag movie clip There are collision objects There is a lot of Flash action scripting LOL.

Yes, it's done in Flash obviously. Pekka based it on an article by Thomas Jakobsen, regarding advanced character physics. However, it is not something "new" really. It's been in use for some time now commercially. Havok's Reactor was one of the first commercial applications to have "stuntman" or "ragdoll" physics for 3D apps I think (Reactor is now an integrated module in 3dsmax v5 and up). Once you work out the math, the same physics can be translated to just about any platform that can handle collisions, joints, and simulated gravity.

NOT AGAIN

Best bet is it was done with Endorphin which is a rag doll physics program (and not much else to be candid) I beleive there is a way to import a DAZ or Posette skeleton into Endorphin 2.0 or LE and then save it as a bvh file which can then be imported into Poser. Its been awhile since I played with Endorphin 1.0 and in that version it was not possible to import other skeletons.

"Best bet is it was done with Endorphin" It wasn't Endorphin. Pekka states on his website that he used Thomas Jakobsen's ragdoll physics formula as the basis. He probably just implimented it directly in Flash. Best way to find out for sure, if you must, would just be to email him at his website address and ask how it was done. :-)

A little more info on the subject, including another rag-doll and a rather mysterious tutorial on doing IK in Flash....
