Never mind, found it, here's the address for anyone who needs it. It under downloads, in the updates section. You'll need to register to get inVue is a really excellent program and totally worth owning the current version- 3.1. But they are working on a new release of VUE 4 and I hear its going to be really great... (Unfortunately, it isn't available in MAC...) You Limeys have some of the best software mags around, forcing us Yanks to harass U.S. bookstores like Barnes & Noble and Borders to save us a copy before they sell out. I bet you also probably know that Issue 10 of Brit 3D Mag "3D World" has an article on making Poser cowboy boots and bluejeans- paving the diplomatic way for Tony and Dubya's recent campfire chat at Camp David...
You only register online to get a serial number, the 2.1 patch is on the cd. It's pretty easy to use, and Poser works well with it as well, apart from having to convert .tifs to .jpgs. Btw Fox, the tutorial in 3d World (issue 9)is texturing a pair of jeans, not making them. Issue 10 has a tutorial from Bill Fleming on making realistic hands.
If you do not have Vue already then I have to STRONGLY urge you to try and get hold of this freebie. It is an incredible program. There are a few issues with Poser imports that have been touched on already, but, most of them are easily worked around. As for landscaping capabilities, the vegetation alone blows away anything MetaCreations ever offered with Bryce. I use both Vue and Bryce, depending on needs since each has its strong points, but Vue is my preferred landscape tool of the two. I just wish there was as much user support and such for Vue as there is for Bryce. No telling where we could take this program if there was. Again, if at all possible, get this program! Take care.
I must ditto what Amir (casamerica) said above. Vue's version 2 is outstanding. I started using Vue with that version, and found I could do pretty much anything I could think of. The interface and controls are very intuitive, so much so that you'll hardly need the manual at all. But if you do need it, Vue's manual is excellent and contains many easy-to-follow tutorials. Vue is currently in version 3.1. Version 4 is due soon, which is why (I assume) they're letting v.2 go for free now. :) Varian --Treasures d'Esprit http://www.varian.net/dreamview/dreamtools/vue/ Models, materials, atmospheres, tutorials and more for Vue d'Esprit users

There is a new Forum, the Vue d'Esprit Forums, that went up just a couple of months ago. It's an excellent resourse, and you can download a demo of the program from eonsoftware, and enter contests. It's good site. :) BoniBoni

Don't know if you already know this, but Computer Arts are giving away Vue2 on their cover disc, in England anyway.
