Subject: Oldie but goldie...

Liverpool... Forgotten Town... This is about 12 years old. It was taken in my hometown of Liverpool England. This is where you board the 'Ferry across the Mersey'. The old man has some sort of medical problem that prevents him from standing upright. He has to hold a mirror to see where he is going. I took thousands of photos like this one back then. Unfortunately they are all back in Liverpool and I am here in Buffalo. Maybe one day I will get to bring some back. This was taken with a Nikon(something). The rain effect was added in Photoshop.

I remember seeing this photograph before - it's so sad. You've captured this scene beautifully... the black and white works so well with the atmosphere. My eyes are continuously drawn to him - it's heartbreaking in it's reality. Smiles, Brandi

I think Brandi is right in that its reality is heartbreaking, and this is one of the photos I looked at on your site over a year ago, when we didn't know each other, and thought, man, this guy has soul....
