Been away for a while but read quite a few new posts about lo-res figures Hereby again an example of what can be done

I would like to make something like attached picture for the P4 Male low.Any suggestions where I might start? It is the crew member of an 1800's sailing ship.I need to make hats as well as shoes or boots and needs to be Lo Res as I will be putting about 20 or so figures on board.

Poser World has very similar clothing for pirates, etc. Check them out. if you're not a member, they have a $35 yearly summer special on til Sept. 1, I think. Worth every penny and moreso.
