Subject: V3 morph question. Once I get the morphs how I want them how can I save them?

So I don't have to redo the morphs on every new image. Thanks, James

You can save the whole V3 figure back to the Figures library. Just navigate to a suitable folder and press the little + button at the bottom of the library palette. Or, if you want to splash out on software, there are some programs which will save the pose or figure as an INJ pose.

You can also save the clothing on the character in the same way as Karen said. Once you have your V3 with clothes, morphs, props etc. just click on the + sign in the library pallette just as karen said and answer yes to stuff it asks you and it'll be there for you whenever you want. I usually do this if I'm doing a story and want to re-use the character in different scenes, I don't have to load V3 and put all the clothes on again etc. Much easier! thefixer, poser coord.

heyas; you guys want to learn and remember to 'memorize' stuff. even (especially) when saving. look on the menu under edit: memorize: ... once you get the face/head morphs looking the way you like, make sure the head is selected and do edit: memorize: element. (note: this also memorizes the scaling and rotation dials, so morph on an un-posed figure.) memorize records the dial settings for when you 'restore' your character. i can't remember the keyboard shortcuts offhand, i think it's something like shift-ctrl-f to restore the figure, and ctrl-e... is restore element. check these, first. anyway, memorize what you want your figure defaults to be before you save to the library. then if you ever reset your figure/scene, you can get your defaults back by using the restore. also, if you morph everything to perfection, then apply a pose that totally wipes out your morph settings... well, you can get them back. (although it will also un-pose the figure, too.) if you're working with a huge list of injected face morphs, tweak them all the way you like, then spawn a NEW morph. name the new morph and set it to one, then un-inject all those little building morphs. memorize your new morph at a setting of 1, and there you have it. note that saving your head with your one custom-combo morph to the faces library won't do you any good. you can save your base figure with the new morph on it, or export the head as a morph object to load onto your other v3's, if you have any that need it.
