The right, gives space to the pic.

Late (as usual) to the party but my (admittedly untrained artistic eye) take on the image is simple: Couple off center to the left (using "thirds"). That leaves the path they are taking/facing on the walkway holding aobut 2/3's of the image. From what I've read, when a portrait of a person shows them sideways, the part of the frame they are looking into should be bigger than the other part. Besides, I think it works in this image as when a couple "walks into the future", it IS an unknown trip. I like the image.
I do also prefer the first one here, with the crop on the right....love the soft colours in here

Hi Dougie,Just my two cents that's probably irrelevant at this point, but I definately prefer the couple on the left side of the image.I quite like the one Cyndy has in the middle .It shows where they've been AND where they are going. The others don't have that sense of 'time' as in past/present/future that that one has.And since the couple is in motion I think that's what makes that crop work best.Just my humble opinion...:)

Oh and by the way,I love the pic!So romantic. The couple seems so wonderfully happy and at ease with each other. The quiet color contributes to that serenity beautifully. Will you post the reworked one?

I think the curve of the path also provides a stronger horizontal element to balance the vertical 'weight' of the figures. The 'right' compo, while pleasing, loses the whole feel of the walkway. It becomes truncated and incidental, whereas in the left one it is a design element. I hope I'm making sense, lol,I was up all night working on that upload and haven't slept yet! :/
