Where can I download "Correct Reference"? I have just searched on this link and:- **"correct reference" hogwarden** found nothing. **hogwarden** drowned me in 11300 results. **"correct reference"** found 98500 results, mostly (as expected) irrelevant.I wrote a straightforward, but involved tutorial on listing OBJ files not referenced from pp2 or cr2 files. I posted it at rendervisions a over a year ago under a title with "Runtime lessons" or something like that. It is in essence a simple set of command line commands executed in Windows command box, but does require the installatin of a couple of free GNUWIN32 programs that are ports of Unix tools to Windows. It does nothing to correct anything, but just lists files that are not referenced. I needed to do this while cleaning my hd at one time. It may or may not help you with what you are doing.
Recently I was in the need to at least try out Hogwarden's free Correct Reference program and found that it was no longer available as a free utility and don't have the funds right now. Instead, I've been going through hundreds of PZ3's to convert them to PZZ's (11 DVD's squeezed into 1) while going through the time-consuming process of matching OBJ's and JPG's to newly created Runtime folders that didn't exist when these PZ3's were created (I was only using one Runtime at the time). In my opinion, even though it is taking more than a week to do this I am also finding a lot of missing files that need to be there such as hair, figures, and prop geometry and textures. I'm not sure if Correct Reference will give you some sort of missing file listing that would be useful for this since I didn't get to try the freebie and the demo doesn't seem to be available. It also helps to have a recent backup of your entire Runtime folders.

A while ago someone wrote a program to go through .CR2 and .PP2 and .PZ3 etc files and look for and correct misdirected pointers to texture map files. It would be useful if this program could be adapted to also check the lines that point to.OBJ files.
