I have gotten an assignment at school, an IT expert, definition, responsibilities, rolls. I have researched online but then again I would like to include some answers from leading experts on the field so I would deeply appreciate if you could take some time to answer my questions. Rolls? I'm not an expert, but around here, the IT experts' main role is probably trying to keep servers and networks running 24/7. Whether that's the role of all IT experts everywhere, I doubt it, but it's a big part of it.

thanks Mateo and yes I konw jumpstartme2, I didn't specify but that is exactly my problem. The assignment it's as wide as it can be but then again if I get some pointers, just a little clue to follow. . . please!!
