...thats DOUBLE encoded files. ^-^

But maybe you would make an exception for Nellie ?

Nellie is a hybrid made from NEAs head and PreTeen Vicky2s body, so you have to own the V2 Milgirls AND a version of Poser4,5 or 6 to use her.
(And the free RTE encoder)

The custom head morph was done by me, as was the hybrid neck.
(Thanks to svdl for helping me with her cr2 file)

The body takes all PT Vicky morphs while the head takes all NEAena (Or Posette) morphs you have.

So if you think shes worth the hassle and want to give her a good home in your runtime, just send me a PM.

Yes she is :) So, if the body takes all the PT morphs then we can transfer the PT Tenten morphs and she can wear all those cool outfits at Yamato's Fair! PM's on its way :)

woah nellie. Thank you.

Casette ( ) posted Mon, 05 September 2005 at 6:29 AM

Only a question, Roy. Ive noticed that your Nellie folder is called "$tahlratte". Have you tested if your "$" dont give a parse error? I remember some symbols have troubles with Poser libraries

There was a thread recently about that, I think that the dollar sign is one of the bad ones to use.

Casette ( ) posted Mon, 05 September 2005 at 7:32 AM

Yes, Ive readed just today, so... probably would be better to change the folders name, nah?

Yes, I know... I had a Gallery called "Ms" (Mine) and I had several times a parse error... because Poser5 have troubles with spanish accents. Renamed to "Mios" and no error again

Is anybody else having problems decoding it? It won't accept my blMilGirlPT.obj. I even reset my download at DAZ and got it again just to make sure in case it was updated but it still won't accept it.

stahlratte ( ) posted Mon, 05 September 2005 at 12:14 PM

Ah, didnt I say folks hate double encoding ? - Im using the standard US/english version of Poser PP and P5 and the "$tahlratte" folders work fine. But of course feel free to rename them to "stahlratte" if they cause you any trouble. As long as the two object lines in the cr2 point to the right folder, it doesnt matter what the folders are named. Sigh, I almost feared that there are different versions of the MilGirls objects out there. I ran into the very same propblem when I tried to decode a Stephanie I hybrid. Two different versions and I had of course the wrong one. If anyone has a solution for this, Im open to suggestions. stahlratte

Well, the logical thing would be for everyone to reset their downloads for the MilGirls and go by the latest DAZ file, which means you'll probably also have to do that too and re-encode everything :( Sorry, I can't come up with anything else that would work for everyone. At least then we'll all definitely have the same version.

Thank you! - "she's" charming!

lmckenzie ( ) posted Tue, 06 September 2005 at 12:49 AM

Mine doesn't work either. This happened with one of Netherworks V3 hybrids - wouldn't work with V3-SAE. It only required changing a line in the .obj file as I recall. The geometry itself didn't change, only some version information. My blMilGirl.obj begins with: # Wed Jul 12 19:39:38 2001 # # # mtllib /gooddog/chad/RESOURCES/PoserOrganic.mtl Is there a different timestamp on the newer version? That may be the only thing and would avoid the need for everyone to redownload.

That's the RDNA Stylez8 in the series, the Hawk. And the texture is Punkette by Syyd, the T-shirt is an old one of mine scanned - and to think I used to dress like that 20 years ago - sheesh I feel old!

WHY I CANT DECODE THE $%&@#* FILE??? I have RTEncoder I have blMilGirlPT.obj WHY THE $%&@#* PROGRAM SAYS: THE KEY FILE CRC DOES NOT MATCH THE KEY FILE THAT WAS USING TO ENCODE THE IMPUT FILE???

You could try what kalypso suggested get the daz download reset and get the figure again.

mathman ( ) posted Fri, 09 September 2005 at 10:18 AM

I got my download reset, and I re-downloaded it, but I am still can't decode the file.

Jules53757 ( ) posted Mon, 12 September 2005 at 9:02 AM

I have the same prob, "the keyfile crc does not match ..." may be Stahlratte will provide us with the timestamp of his obj file, mine has a size of 6.81 MB (7,149,070 Bytes)

It won't help in this case but I think perhaps it would be nice if the design of the encoding/decoding applications was changed to accomodate the fact that Daz will revise geometry files and not everyone is always going to have the latest version. I'm wondering if it would be possible to securely encrypt a geometry file while allowing for multiple encryption keys that would each be capable of unlocking the "master" key actually used to encode the data. Daz could make available the key signatures for each revision of a geometry file and they could be incorporated in any encoded file based on that figure. Users would then be able to decode the file using whatever version they happend to have. Unfortunately, I don't know how feasible it is or whether Daz would agree to it :-)

She is really nice and her body can take the morphs for V2 from Jaager.com to change her shape a little bit, if you use the dials carefully. The only strange thing in P6 is, some poses for V2 work very well but in some other poses the eyes and teeth are out of the head. Until now the only solution is avoiding these poses or switching to good old fashioned P4.

I just tried converting the figure and got the file mismatch too.
