Helloooooo..... I put this together for Pascale since she was convinced that the photo in my gallery of this particalar butty was manipulated. None of these have been "messed" with either...i guess its just the way mr Butty looks, sitting on flowers smaller than himself. Enjoy your day/evening....tomorrow is humpday ive been told. ![dork.gif](http://market.renderosity.com/~carrara/emoticons/dork.gif)

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Try not to be too normal Andreas..I'd miss how ya are. Have never seen a butterfly like this around here for sure.. Colours are just wild.

Beauty of a buttie Andreas! I don't think I have ever seen this one either, maybe I need to look harder? ;) Have you ever seen an "88" butterfly? Google an image of one, I could have named it, never saw one before, but now I want to find one of those too! I just assume maybe it is a Dale Earnhardt fan or something!? ;) Brenda :)

Here is a link to that "88" buttie Andreas! I thought this one was rather cool! This is the site for the buttie house that I haunted for nearly six months earlier this year! Brenda :)

Thank you guys. Yeah, "normal" is boring...you are all so correct about that. Brenda, these butties are the only one that im "friends" with. None of the other buttys will sit still long enough for me to photograph them. These Peacock ones on the other hand, they couldnt care less about having a lens stuck one inch away from them. And im not sure they are very common....but we still have a hole "herd" of them in our backyard. The other day i saw around ten of them sharing one bush. No camera of course...sigh. That 88-buttie was pretty darn cool. Its a pity it only lived in Costa Rica was it? Now im gonna take Eija for a doggie walk and this time i WILL bring my camera. We had a close encounter with this big ass moose yesterday and naturally i didnt have my camera with me. SHAME ON ME!!! See yall later. #:O)

What a gorgeous butterfly Andreas. So amazing that they will let you near them.I can't even imagine a bush covered with them.Sigh,I never see any butterflies to write home about.Just these little all-white ones that look more like a moth than anything else.I did get an orange one at a public garden recently but man was it ugly! And furry like yours!Guess I won't be uploading any pretty butties like this anytime soon. And please, don't ever be 'normal'!RR just wouldn't be the same!

It is the Peacock Butterfly. Featured on some Swedish stamps: slaniastamps.heindorffhus.dk/ frame-Sweden20.htm Google on "peacock butterfly" to get to all sorts of images of them. Hmm... this one looks cheerful. ;)
