Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 7:57 am)
You could also get DAZ|Studio - it's free. Renders better than P4, but doesn't have magnets or wave deformers. Most P4 content (except the magnet stuff) works straight out of the box.
The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

Please don't kill yourself with P3 and go d/l DS as suggested above. A few words of warning - you won't find historically accurate medieval clothes for free, maybe apart of Valandar's dublet for P4NudeMan (dublets are rather late-medievil though) and plain tunic/tabard for M2. Most of stuff you'll find is fantasy-medievil or just plain fantasy, like "Poserworld medievil dress" which is actually fantasy one. Good luck though. Link attached points to Poser links directory. This is awesome, it really makes easier and much faster to search for the freestuff.Outdated gallery over at DeviantArt

Also Daz has a choice of how you want to render. Daz Studio also has 2 different options for rendering. 1) Open GL which uses the systems video card to to render the final image. Produces faster renders. 2) 3Delight uses the 3Delight software rendering engine. This option is slower but produces the most realistic results.Thought. I'm assuming you got Poser 3 from a cover CD. If you have a look on the most recent discs you might find Bryce. Or better still a special SE version of Vue 3. While this version of Vue doesn't import Pz3's. It can import .objs. So if you load poser, export the scene as an.obj. Then place all the textures used in that scene in just one folder. Vue should import the obj, then ask for the maps, aim at that folder and the textures will be loaded. Sometimes you have to do for each map, but it can work OK. You might need to tweak the textures a bit, V3 eyes don't like this way, that's because theres some kind of membrane thingy. Just set that to transaprent. Then so you can light and render using a better lighting system/renderer than P3's.
Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.

Hi. I'm looking for some free medieval clothing. I'm just hoping for stuff I can adapt. I've looked through the archives here for good medieval clothes and Google-d for them but have had no success. If you could help me, I'd very much appreciate it. Thanks!
