THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Help on creating motion water ripples

Greetings, Can anyone help me with tips on how to make waves as seen by a sail boat moving through water? I have tried everything I can think of and still haven't found a way to do this and make it believeable. I rendered a nice sailing ship with lighthouse etc and while it looks pretty good I am very unhappy with how the ship just seems to sit there with full sails and no expression of movement. Can anyone help! Thanks in advance Bill

wfd1 if you go to the tutorial pages for bryce you will find i believe something there that might just be what you are looking for..if you can't find it someone will post a link here i'm sure for it..

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

Found a tut called "Stormy Seas in Bryce" and from what I read that could very well do what I've been looking for, a little workaround and a little change here and there might just do it. I'll work with it a bit and see what develops...thanks for your help. wfd1 - Bill
