Hey guys, I'm going to have a bunch of trees in the way distance. I was curious if anyone knows if it's possible to populate via a billboard? Do I need to create a billboard with a texture and then export that as a vob and use it? Also, I have a new levee image. CC requested.

Very nice picture. I especially liked the sky in your FIRST picture better. But everybody has a different opinion, I'm sure... BTW- what you are showing there looks like a "Sea Wall" or "Shore Break" (or various other terms). A Levee defined by WikiPedia is: "levee, lev (from the feminine past participle of the French verb lever, "to raise"), floodbank or stopbank is a natural or artificial embankment or dike, usually earthen, which parallels the course of a river. The word levee seems to have come into English through its use in colonial Louisiana." You can probably check with a US Army Corps of Engineers website to get the exact term for what you are showing offshore, as they build that type of stuff a lot all around US Coastlines and especially near the entrances to harbors.

To answer your question - yes... that's exactly what you need to do to populate an ecosystem with billboards. Save each type of billboard as a .vob file and add them to your ecosystem.

my personal opinion is that you should remove the bilboards in the water, the male and kid on the shore looks great and fits your scene perfectly but the ones in the water doesnt. nice update

Well, I need to get some sort of scale to those "shore breaks". If I shouldn't have the billboards in the water, any ideas where? I personally like the person by the break, and the people on the beach, but not the one to the left. To me it looks like she's deeper in the water than the ocean floor actually would be from that point. agiel: Thanks for the answer!

Ryan, I agree, the first sky was much more deep and dynamic. If you can, change it back.

The thing is, this is a piece of art advertising something for a client and the other sky is too busy and distracting. The rocks need to be the focal point.
