Subject: Talia Missin File

When I try to bruing up Talia, it is looking for Talis2.psd file. The file is not in the .Zip file I downloaded, and isn't it supposed to be looking for a .jpg file? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

It sounds like it is pointing to the psd file as a texture... You may have to just tell it not to look for that file and then when it loads point it to the correct one.

Thanks Helen, I'll have to look and see how to go about doing that. I have not had this too long. (Too bad I can't spell missing) George

When you load Talia in do this:- When it asks for the psd file hit cancel. Then it will ask you if you want to continue looking say no.. Poser will then load without a reference to that psd file.. You can now go to the materials editor and point it to the correct file. If the jpg file is missing you will have to get in touch with whoever made Talia. I would say that what has happened while working on the texture the creator used the psd file. Probably with the intention of later pointing to the jpg file. Looks like an over sight.. I work with the psd file when making a texture as it is more efficent that way..

Thanks again Helen, I should have figured that one out myself, but my head is in so many programs between work and home, I overlook the simple stuff. George

gads. sorry i didn't reply to this! i always look for comments in the customer support forum, and only check this forum out once a day usually :( Geo, i can't beleive i let that slip by me, and my testers didn't catch it either! i usually keep the .psd until i've got it just right. somehow, i overlooked that. Helen, thank you very much for helping :) i'll be sure to be more careful (my wife has made a checklist for me, so it shouldn't happen again) again, thanks and sorry :)
