All those cloud pics reminded me of a little shot I caught while I was in Illinois last month. Fairly dramatic coloring for that part of the state. AS

Do you live in the US? I thought you were a Brit, living somewhere in Britlandia.

Nice shot AS. Living in Illinois, we do get an unusual amount of interesting sunsets, compared with having grown up in Wisconsin. Where'd you shoot this? I live about 40 miles SW of Chicago near the infamous Joliet(Blues Bros.), and this looks similar to sunsets I see on a regular basis.

Yup, I haved lived in California for the past 20 years now! (time flies) The last 5 years I have lived here in Los Angeles. The building in the bottom of that photo is my old High School in Greenup Illinois...yes, I know, strange name. Very small town. It's roughly 200 miles south of Chicago. AS

@AS: Okay, I thought because of the hair (and the pic with the former girlfriend), I figured you to be a native Angelino, now I find out that you're not even a native Californian. I hope that you registered with the proper authorities to get your free drivers license, green card, etc...

Doesn't quite count, but you're getting that "LA" curb appeal...

Nice sunset shot AS!...I live next door in Indiana, see quite a few beautiful sunsets here in the midwest! PS...You don't have an engine puller sitting in your front yard do ya? LOL

AgentSmith ( ) posted Tue, 20 September 2005 at 3:25 AM

Nah, were not quite THAT stereotypical, lol. That's actually at my Mom's house there in Illinois. You WILL at times see a tractor in her front yard...;o) (She is surrounded by corn/bean fields) AS
