Subject: mt5 file in P5 question

I've forgotten if this works and I don't want to re-install P5 to find out, so maybe someone can help. If I apply an .mt5 file in P5, will it affect any material I have selected? Or does it only affect the specific material named in the file? In P6, you can apply a saved material to any material you choose, just by selecting it. I can't remember if P5 does this or not. TIA mac

Yes, in P5, the .mt5 is applied to any material group currently selected, regardless of the name. P6's .mc6 material collections, on the other hand, will only affect specific materials groups ... just like a MAT pose.

Thanks, LD. I'm saving everything as single materials, not collections, so that's ok. It was just the material name being in the file that threw me for a sec. mac
