Thanks for all the replies. I am interested in photographing frogs and I wanted to see what kind of results other photogs are getting. I am really interested in their facial expressions.

OK - this may not have been a good example depending on what you were looking for, it just happened to be latest one I took of a frog.
I was practising getting settings for other things so it is, as is, could do with some postwork for display.
But it has a frogs face in it - so I guess it is ok :) Worst thing with getting a good frog portrait for me is they half close their eyes when it is very bright. I think an overcast day is probably better. I used flash to get the catchlight in the eye.

Yup I agree with Doug. Drop Chris an IM or mail....her accounts are Dianthus and February....she has the coooooolest frog-shots EVER!!!!

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Yeah!! Why havent you posted this one???? This has got to be one of the coolest looking disco-frogs ive seen. Looks like hes standing in neon-light or something. Very kewl indeed!!!

oh i didn't post MR dico frogg ( sings staying alive and does the travolta dance..) cause he wasn't doing anything but just sitting there lol i thought it was maybe boring but if you like it hey maybey i'll post .. lol how come the stuff i think is ordianary and not done up you like the most with my work Pascale and Andreas??!! haha... mabey i am trying too hard and just need to simplify .. ok i get it ....ALRIGHT i am putting up a boring tree then today maybe the boring dico danceless frog tommorrow... Well, personally, I think u're a brilliant photographer and I usually love ur pics! But definitely NOT ur "smudging"! I'm sure u asked me before and I already told u that! This shot is great Kim!! The colors are awesome, it's sharp and clear, and what an unusual frog u've captured here! All the ingredients are there to make this shot interesting and appealing IMHO! :)

for the life of me what does imho mean i have been wonderin this for the longest time...LOL!! thanks pascale ok ill try to reduce my smuding some people are complaining cause i stopped doing my smudge paintings... (psst hey dbird sorry we are getting of the leap pad here.. hehe)

FRENCH FROG !!! As everybody knows WE ARE THE FROGS ! So, I took this one in Paris (yes, I swear). It's a place called "Le jardin des Plantes", a botanic garden founded in the 18th century by famous french naturalists Buffon, Cuvier... I was there to shot flowers when I heard it singing...

So that's for you, THE UNIQUE AND UNIVERSAL PICTURE OF A FRENCH ! (I'll maybe put it in my profile LOL)
