Hi all, here's my latest product: The Messerschmitt Me262

The Me262 was the first operational turbojet powered aircraft. In addition to being jet powered, it brought forth many advancements in aircraft design. Although sometimes viewed as a last ditch Nazi super weapon, the Me262 was under development before the start of WWII.

The package includes:

  • model in .obp format (for Bryce users)
  • model in .obj format (for users of Vue and other program)
  • model in .3ds format (for users of 3DS Max and other program)
  • Poser specific files with file paths and external geometry (can be extracted directly into the Poser folder)
  • .jpg texture & bump maps (2048*2048)
  • texture template (for making your own textures)

The Poser model is fully rigged for animation, and one dial that controls the similataneous retraction of all three wheels, and then also controls the closing of the wheel covers using delayed ERC channels. The canopy, rudder, pitch and left and right wing flaps also have their own controls. Limits are applied.

Posable parts:

  • Cockpit: Open/Close
  • Rudder: Left/Right
  • Stick: Left/Right/Front/Back
  • Undercarriage: Open/Close
  • Pitch: Up/Down
  • Flaps Inner: Up/Down
  • Flaps Outer: Up/Down
  • Wheels: Turn

A BIG thanks to Helgard de Barros for helping out with the Poser conversion.
