Hey guys and gals, still here in Sugar Land, we did not make it out. The traffic was just too bad. We are going to shelter in and hope for the best. As for now the eye has moved to the east, but we are still in the cone. Pray for all the people where ever it does make land fall. Hopefully all that have been stranded on the highways are sheltered and off the roadways. Hope to post again... Niles

I here ya, Niles! I saw those rodes out of here and said, "I like my chances here better" I know people who came back after spending a whole day on the rode, only to move 10 miles.

take care everyone in the area. We in UK are thinking of you - yes I know we moan about our weather but this puts everything in perspective!

My aspiration: to make a decent Poser Render I'm an Oldie, a goldie, but not a miracle worker :-)

No problem in southeastern Harris County (Clear Lake City, halfway between Houston and Galveston). We had winds of 25 to 50 mph for about 12 hours, but never lost power, had only very minor tree damage and hardly any rain.
