I want to create a ball of light that will be seen through a forest setting (kinda throught the branches) The envionment will be at night and I want the ball to give off a intense light effects where there are holes or windows in the sphere and the light shinning throught these openings creates 'beams' or intense volumed light kinda like a disc-ball.

I had fun placing a round light object inside a sphere with the sphere somewhat transparent. Got the texture to show on the ball and light to shine forth. Maybe I'll get a tut up at www.annsartgallery.com/ericwebs.html in a few days.
