Well it is actually yesterday, but I forgot about it in the hectic rush at work. Here's an image to imply the sun setting on the final day of summer. Actually, it is a sunrise, but that is just semantics. It was a sunset for someone, somewhere. :) See that sunspot? It isn't dust because it showed up in all of my photos from that morning. So, we mark the close of another Summer and look towards and hopefully beautiful Fall. If anyone wants to post some of their favorite Summer's end photos, or Fall photos here, then that would be great...we don't get too much of a season change down here in South Florida. :]

Gorgeous shot, Kort!! Absolutely beautiful. I just posted my first fall pic in my gallery at the link. I have a couple more that aren't quite gallery worthy, but are great fall colors. I will work on one and post it later. Great idea for a thread! :)

last i looked it "jogged" back to the East, might just miss us entirely :P... but then we're suppose to see some rain maybe Tuesday

Fall? Now? It's not Fall! It won't be Fall until later next month when the high's will hopefully drop below 90. Winter doesn't even start until Christmas here.

I hope your safe Cyn. Houston is pulling together. We will make it through. I'm having lots of trouble right now though. My dad just told my mom he has been cheating on her for the past 3 weeks. So he came and got his stuff. 35 years of commitment to her thrown away. So now I have alot more to deal with. This is quiet possibly the worst Fall of my life. :(

We don't have fall here - this flower in my garden is named 'Autumn Joy' though :)

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

Such BEAUTIFUL images from everybody!!!!! Great idea, Kort!!!! i took this one about 2 or 3 weeks ago i think. i was really surprised when i saw these fall-colored leaves lying on the concrete. i haven't noticed the leaves changing, but apparently some trees are turning a bit earlier this year.

This is my pic of the sunset on this past Labor Day...LOL...the one I got eaten up by midges for!Not anything to write home about as far as sunsets go,but since Labor Day means the 'end' of summer to many I thought it was appropriate. Great idea for a thread Kort.I love seeing everyone's pix.I hope they keep on coming...

I just want everyone to know that it looks like Houston is going to be safe! In my part of town there hasn't been a single drop of rain. Now I just gotta deal with my dad bailing on me and my mom :-/. Great photos by the way. I hope to get back in the scene sometime soon, just a lot going on and I haven't had the want to pick up my camera and shoot for awhile. Anyways Happy Fall to everyone and I hope no one else in the Rosity community has to deal with the crap I'm about to go through.

Those M&M's look great! Very appropriate for the fall, or for any other season. Not quite fall here in northern New England yet, believe it or not, but it is supposed to get down to around 40f tonight. Lots of fall pictures in another month or so.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!! M&M`S!!!!!!! MMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!! What gorgeous pictures everyone!!! I just LOVE the fall, definitly my favorite season. Last night i took a little drive to this river where i was hoping to take some silky-shots again....only to find it to be completely dry......took a pano just for fun though and you can see that we too have fall. Great thread Kort!!!! ![smiley.gif](http://market.renderosity.com/~carrara/emoticons/smiley.gif) Oooh...wonder if this pano will "ruin" the page for everyone...if everyones replies stretches with it...causing people to scroll even if they dont really want to....hmmmm....me walking a thin line here...bla bla...hope it doesnt upset anyone...okay...here goes.... ![hide.gif](http://market.renderosity.com/~carrara/emoticons/hide.gif)

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?
