My Poser 5 has no female figures. All it's got is men. Why is this? Is there any way I can get Judy in there? I don't want the men, just the women. Help please! Thanks!!!

When you installed P5 they should have been installed also. Make sure you have the most current figure updater for the figures.

Have you installed it from the original CD?

There is a choice of installs: Basic (male only), Standard (women and children too), and Family Content (only clothed figures). Additionally the Poser 4 and 5 content was not packaged with Poser 6. They can be obtained along with the SR-1 Service Release at ContentPradise.com if you enter your Poser 6 serial number. Staff there will help within a few days if you have a problem. You can also try NEA and Domus by searching this forum for a thread with a link to them (are they in free stuff?) They are supperb reworking of the P4 Nude figures but require the original P4 figures be installed. Sixis has free figures I believe and Project Human at Content Paradise has male and female high and low resolution figures in the Free section (check box 1/4 way down on left of front page). You can search for MayaDoll which is a somewhat Anime female figure with gentials for which there is good free support. A very nice P4 femal figure with genitals is "Eve" available at Arduino's site (search for URL). Those are the fre figures I kow of. Low Resolution Micael 3 and Victoria 3 are Daz3D.com in a huge Starter Content set for $30 but this Victoria has no nipples. Victoria 3 (V3) is the standard female figure now, the base is free at DAZ but the body and head morph sets for making her look different are $15 each. Victoria and Micheal 2 are nice figures that are use less memory and have great morphs and cost $20 each but there is less clothes and skin textures available for them. I think that covers it.

well I downloaded the figures updater and installed it, but it didn't give me any figures. Hmm... I shall check out what you've suggested Momodot. Thanks everyone. :)

Land sakes, male characters are harder to find..there's some folks who wouldn't mind that mix..;) it's just the first time I've seen someone complain about not enough rather than too much..;)

Before someone stomps on you for that type of request may I remind you it's a no-no. You might still be able to get it through content paraidise, p5 content. Or, do a search of you hard drive.

OK since you asked for Judy, I have to ask where you got your poser from?

Try re-installing Poser and select "Standard" Install. (see momdot's post #4 above)

Then d/l SR-1 and install it.

That should fix the problem.

Ya know, my install of P5 didn't (IIRC) have those options, well, certainly not the Family Content one. Must be a Mercan thang. :D

I think even Version 3 came out with the different options, which (clothed) is what I had running at work, where bare headlights were a terminal carreer move, if'n you know what I mean..;) Should be able to get them with the reinstall..or use all the sources above for additional characters..

Well, I do know that there was a Hacked Version that was being sold as used that worked, but did not contain the Female Figures. Not sure if this might be your issue, but if you did buy a used copy on E-Bay, contact them immediately.
