VERY NICE FOR SECOND DAY ATTEMPT! Comendable job. I started out rendering mirrored spheres two years ago :) Suggestions: I'd lower the fet mist just a tad bit....it's a little too high from the botton. Try messing around with the water materials in the Mat lab and see what you come up with. Very nice job indeed! Best regards, -Matt

No offense to Digital at all but, I don't really see a problem with the mist height. Warmer days with cooler water temperatures will cause a higher mist dispersal and the colors you have used makes the water look like it is cool indeed. I would however recommend spreading the mist outward also. Are the shapes at the bottom of the falls Rocks or Surge? If they are supposed to be surge raise the resolution on them and smooth the heck out of them...that way it will kind of make them look like large Ripples. Experiment with different heights on them as well. BTW...Nice Job for only your second day. This looks better than the stuff I did my second Month! (Rob)

Well, like the others say, this is spectacular for a 2nd day attempt. Probably beats the herll out of anything I could create in my first year. I agree that the mist is very well done, it took me forever to get that right. In my oppinion the water looks a bit to harsh as it is falling down the falls. I haven't a clue as to how to fix that, but there are plenty of tallented people around here who can tel you. -Tempest-

The falling water could pick up a white texture as it drops. I'm working on a texture for that. Otherwise, great job.

Wow...lookin' good Snaps. If I may be so bold as to offer another piece of advice? Turn your specularity down on the mist so you don't get that "white light" look...or you may need to adjust the Fuzziness and/or Render Quality. Heh...then again it may just be my damn monitor! Rob

I'll try that, thanks.
