Hi: I recently bought Animated Fire from Omega. I have IMed him, but have not received a reply. I am a complete newbie, and need help with using it. Does anyone have experience with this product and would be able to help me? Any help would be great!

Is there any instructions in the readme file? Often when it's something complicated to use the merchant will include some usage instructions. I don't have that and don't know much about animation in Poser.... but that's all I can think of right now. Also, drop Omega an email. Their address should be in the readme... or you can do it from the PM area. They might not check the PM's as often as they do emails.

Hi Acadia: thanks for your help. There isn't anything in the readme file. I will try emailing Omega though.

Looks like it's an animated material, applied to a plane. Instead of a JPG texture, it's a AVI.

Unzip the file you downloaded with "use folder names" checked, and everything should land in the right place. You will find the items in the Props library, in the Omega folder.

You will need Poser 5 or 6 to use this product. It won't work in Poser 4/Poser Artist.

Thanks, I'll try that.

I should have said...unzip it to your Poser folder with "use folder names" checked. That way, you should see the props in your Poser library. Sorry if I wasn't clear. And please post again if you're still having trouble.
