Subject: Help with PS7 - PS6

What major difference is there in PS6 to PS7 ? can PS6 open up PSD files ? I have someone with some problems with something I made in PS7 reguarding layers.. they have PS6 and can't seem to open the psd file.. any help would be apperciated ! Hugs Adria

PS6 had some issues opening certain PSD files containing layer effects that were edited in PS7. There was an update that resolved that issue. i think the update was the 7.0.1 updater. it also had the "'Maximize Backwards Compatibility for Photoshop Files" in the preference file if memory serves me correct.

look for it in on the Adobe website - it should still be around. this should take care of your problem.
