Say it ain't so....I loved the show when I was a kid (watching it in reruns), heck I even watched the Get Smart movie, and the updated Get Smart with Don Adams as the chief. Would you believe that Don Adams was also the voice of Inspector Gadget ..... It just is not fair. I heard that they are supposed to be reviving Get Smart again as a modern movie, but without Adams.... Farewell Agent 86 we will miss you.
Was that the series that spoofed 'The Man From UNCLE' ? He was hysterical! Sad loss...:-(

And in my final hours - I would cling rather to the tattooed hand of kindness - than the unblemished hand of hate...
I liked the never working cone of silence that Max would always insist on using. I believe Mel Brooks was one of the writers or producer for GEt Smart. I 'm not sure who the other was , I think maybe Carl Reiner. Well gotta go, I think My shoe phone is ringing:) Sad to see 86 go. Farewell Mr. Adams

Oh, and a personal note: one episode of "Get Smart" had 86 warning a bunch of KAOS members that "CONTROL agents would be "rolling in like a case of oranges." God help me, I went on a raid two months ago and I told the perps that the rest (all the back up) would be "rolling in like oranges". Got some really strange looks from the perps and my team. I still think it's cool, tho...
LOL Nukeboy They will believe you about the agents long as you don't say "would you believe" first. Underdog voice was done by Wally Cox. There's no need to fear UnderDog is Here. Tennesse Tuxedo voice was by Don Adams. These Tennesse Tuxedo shorts were shown between underdog epidodes.

Get Smart (Don Adams) has past away. This is somewhat sad for me, for not only did I love the TV series, but Barbara Feldon's sister was my English Teacher when I lived in Oakland. Ms. Feldon-Parkhurst actually got Agent 99 to visit us in class. That was really cool.
