Hello! Magazine (an online magazine) recently had a voting thing going on to find the most attractive man of the week. Well, naturally Alan won (with about a zillion votes more than the neareast competitor) and that earned him a place in the voting for Most Attractive Man of the MONTH! So PLEASE! Tell me about being obsessed LOL I think there's quite a few here who will gladly attest that I am totally, utterly, over-the-top obsessed with Alan Rickman. Hubby has more or less given up. He silently lets me fill up the house with Rickman (and Snape...) posters and figurines and stuff... If I DARED get a tattoo, I'd get this one made somewhere. It's a self-portrait. Made by Alan. melts (oh and I've given up the "growing up" bit. Now that I've turned 40 without managing, I doubt I ever will)

lmfao same here...i have robs stuff everywhere....even he buys me robs stuff...he got me a book yesterday......i already had it but he wasnt sure and it was on sale and i was :O( over something so he bought it anyway....i live and breath this guy....its not fair....i want him...nad i want him now!

Well now it doesn't take all that much skill to act Cotsner off stage... but you're right. With that result that Cotsner demanded the movie cut 12 minutes short. Those 12 minutes are back on the extended version DVD.. and whaddayaknow.. it's almost 12 minutes of pure Sheriff... Coincidense? I think not.. (Actually some very crucial scenes to understand WHAT made George tick was lost at the cut) What's MORE curious is that on all the extra material on the H2G2 dvd, there is absolutely NO mentioning of Alan. And ..let' face it.. WHAT would Marvin be without His dry comments? Yet the producers of the extra material has chosen to act like it was Warwick Davies (though they don't SAY so) that is 100% Marvin. He's just what makes Marvin MOVE for crissakes. His personality is Alan!

nah..Odo from Deep Space 9 was the guy in Mash (the reverend..;) How can you forget the Archangel Metatron 'ess a wotchah..you can imagine wot they do..in Dogma?..and, I suppose, Truly, Madly, Deeply..ther's others, but I haven't been to the IMDB to check..;) 'ees ok..;) surprised you haven't tried to model Marvin, ernyoka1..;) should be a snap, if you can do Snape..;)

LOL! Doing Snape (pun UNintended this time) is far easier than modeling Marvin. I have studied Marvin to see if I COULD model him, but I don't really know where to start :o( Rene Auberjonois was in MASH? Gee I never knew! I love him as Odo... Odo is my favourite DS9 character.. well him and Gul Dukat, because Marc Alaimo.... GUH And yes Alan is so lovely as The Metatron.

Rene Auberjonois (spelling?)is now one of the main characters in "Boston Legal", one of my new favs. Also, oddly enough, is ol' Capt. Kirk, himself, Bill Shatner. Not to mention other odd ones, like Betty White and Candace Bergen. Until this show, I never paid much attention to James Spader. Since this thread was supposed to be about Rickman, whom I appreciate, as well...would this post be considered OT/OT? :0)

So no one's managed to make an Alan Rickman morph? Damn. That would be so cool, especially with a texture including the moustache and beard from Die Hard etc. Ironically, though, the movies he's best known for really don't show quite what he's capable of as an actor. He's got an incredible screen presence.

Can just imagine how powerful a film we might have if Rickman was paired with Charlotte Rampling. Maybe directed by Polanski, Egoyan or Alan Parker. Someone should try to replicate that in Poser.

But now we're OT being OT.

I've done several Alan Rickman morphs! Mostly Snape Morphs but also a young Rickman one. They're all displayed in my gallery here :) I think I've got pretty close on one of my Snape morphs really (I have 4 or 5 different ones and I usually mix them to some degree) - check out the pic called The Potions Master :) Oh and Originalkitten.. Ya gotta help Robbie.. he's last in the voting now...

Oh.. and for real triva buffs, Mark Alimano (sp?) was first on Star Trek as a 20th-Century businessman rescued from the S.S. Birdseye (inside-the-show joke), in frozen stasis. Another useless factoid from the Pakled (we are not smart..;)

More OT OT on Odo, etc. My fav ST series was DS9. I think they had the most interesting stories and characters of the lot. I wish someone would get ambitious enough to do some of the DS9 denizens. It's kind of sad to think that there isn't any new ST Series at all, now. I was kind of hoping "Enterprise" might make it.

Uhm.. I think you're mistaken there, Pakled. Marc Alaimo WAS in The Neutral Zone. But not as a business man. He was Commander Tebok. A cardassian :o) He first appears in Lonely Among Us (he's one of those weird furry beasts that wants to eat the fish-like delegates)

I cast my vote! sigh He's a gorgeous man and such an amazing actor. I've always liked him, but really fell in love with him when he played Colonel Brandon in Sense and Sensibility. :)
