...the switches that blew out. since Rendo got back online, it's been fast and snappy... even with 2500 users on. infact it's been down right....normal. don't change a thing!

Some of the links aren't working for me (explorer) - I get "a connection failure has occurred". some of the graphics are failing to load, but some of them may be off-site. it may be related to the session ID and session key database, but I'm no expert.

The sites as been faster for me too after the outage so I am glad it happen because it has fixed the slow down that has been arounf here for a very very long time. Like the pass two years or so. Was spending more time here waiting for page loads then any place and I got cable. But now it is working good.

Well be nice to have option in are profile and for each forum and thread on getting emails for anything. Other forums you have many options to pick from. Emails on each rely, once a day, week etc. Also you can have it so you get no email to your Subscriptions to any of them and can just look in your profile to see what forum, threads you have a Subscription on. At one forum there is also the random forums with lots of chat and some very very long thread. Puts a big load on the servers to email out to the 1000's and 1000's and 1000's of people. For the forums I post in we started after the web master said if the treads were 1000 post or less it would take a big load off the servers we started by making a new thread under the same name but add a #? number to it. Post the last post link in the new thread and post the new thread link in the last post of the thread and then report the thread and the Mod's will close the older thread. It has helped alot on the sites speed by taking off the load.
