How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

well l have minolta x500 bought second hand in the mid 80,s and died when my first lens cost (80 pounds) pound sign doesnt work.. digital age..fuji s5000 in retirement or emergencies. Canon Eos 20D... lens Ef 100mm f2:8 usm macro canon sigma 18-200mm f3:5-6:3 (( its really good for landscapes.. and canon 100mm-400mm l glass..f4:5-5:6.... for wildlife etc.. saving for the canon L glass 70mm-200mm f2:8 because f3:5 isnt really enough.. post production on editing is basically my only needs in photography.. so just use psp 8 and 9... considering ps..eventually.. but find psp equally as good... because in photography l just use the natural enviroment and materials to the best l can.. to limit any post production.. only really use brightness contrast, gamma, curves.. burn,,dodge.. all the old methods.. etc etc.. Good thread by the way.. :) Nikki

"The happiness of a man in this life does not consist in the
absence but in the mastery of his passions."
I definitely fit into the "new" category since I've only had my new camera out twice. I'm very happy to say I haven't left the lens cap on even once... all though I've almost lost it twice now. Anyways... Nikon D70s. I went with it over the D70 because I found it a couple hundred dollars cheaper than the D70. (same kit lens too). I use Photoshop 7 exclusively, since I just can't seem to find enough time to learn anything new these days.
I started years ago (to many) with a Rioch KR10 (35mm)then a big gap. Then 2 Canon sureshots (35mm), great little camera. Then another big gap. Onto digital 2 years ago with a Fugi 602Z. Now using a Canon 10D with 24-70mm, 135mm and a 70-300mm Canon lens. Plus usual tripod and speedlite EX550 flash gun. Software, PSP 9 only. Steve

Just a quick thread for New Photography enthusiasts. Editing Software: Photo Shop CS Camera: The Sony CyberShot DSC-F717 comes equipped with a top-quality Zeiss lens and a 5x optical zoom, both of which set it apart from many of the other 5-megapixel cameras. Its laser-assisted autofocus, night vision capability, and long battery life make the camera very user-friendly, but its weight and size can be impractical for casual users. **Specifications** 5.02 megapixels (effective), Carl Zeiss lens, 5x optical zoom/2x digital zoom, auto and manual focus, program and manual exposure, JPEG and TIFF file formats, ISO range 100-800, Sony InfoLithium battery, movie mode with sound.___
