Hi !

Anyone know if a cover cd from 3D world magazine ( 2000 i think ) with a full version of poser3 AND reg. nr.
meets the requirements for the upgr. amnesty?

Yes, it should be any edition, no matter where you got it. That's the info I have.

If you have a legal copy of Poser (with a valid s/n) then you should be able to take advantage of their most generous offer.

I happen to own legal copies of Poser 4, 5 and 6, but just out of curiosity... It seems to me that "amnesty" is usually a term that applies to situations where "ok, we know that you have pirated software, but for a limited time, we'll forgve you if you go ahead and purchase a legal version now". I find it odd that this term is being used for this particular promotion, which requires you to already own a legit copy. Nothing wrong with them having an upgrade promotion, but I think thier terminology is misleading/confusing (maybe that's the point?).
