popping in to wish all the Canadian a happy Dead Bird Day, eh! from a former Canuck, now residing in the USA... Kenmac, waves atcha 'n smiles...I sure do miss T.O., there's nothing compares to it...I dont miss the smell driving over the Skyway though...I'm from HammerTown just down the QEW a ways, a former Hamiltonian...

Thank you :) However, I'm born and raised in central Canada, and I don't think I have ever used the term "Eh!" I think that's more of an Eastern Canada phrasae. I haven't heard any of my friends and family here say "Eh!" either. On the other hand I work with some people from the East coast, and they always use that term.

How far East you talking? Here in Newfoundland I hear "Right" more often than "Eh" -- which come to think of it I hardly ever hear. But "Right" gets used the same way, eh!

I'm westcoast.... been hearing and saying "eh" all my life!!! Example: "take off eh! Hoser!!!" LOL!!!
