Hey, that's pretty cool looking scene... Are the rock like fomations symetrical lattices or just regular terrains??? Also, did you create the sky??

good idea! lots of possibilities with floating cities

KenS ( ) posted Sun, 04 March 2001 at 11:22 PM

just a regular terrain, I exporterd as a 3ds fie, then added everything on top-foliage, ground, buildings(9 of them). I made the sky also, I might have the sky on my site for download, if not, I will soon. Ken

Yeah, the sky is definitely great and also interesting is the reflection off the water...

that reflection is actually a very low to ground cloud plane

As always fastarxx, you do some pretty amazing work. And I feel its my responsibility to make sure you don't get to full of yourself, though it would be terribly easy producing stuff like this ;) Like I was saying, everything looks great, but there seems to be a bit of repetition in the cities themselves. If you could find some way to make this less aparent, like shifting the turrets (If thats what they are) to different location on each city I think it would elimenate that. Bu im just a very picky fellow, so do as you like. -Tempest-
